Welcome to my new studio blog! I'm so excited to post news, tips, and fun things going on in my studio! Right now I have 23 students, working to build up to 35! I can teach any style of singing! Although most of my training has been classical, I did my thesis on the mix/belt style of singing which can be applied to pop, rock, jazz, musical theater, etc...
About Me: I am a wife, mother, singer, dancer, actor, fiddler, and accompanist. I grew up with singing all around me, my mother was a voice teacher. High school brought many opportunities including leads in all 3 high school musicals, winner of multiple vocal competitions, and soloist with the mo-tab and Utah Symphony. I played the piano and violin my entire life. I was a member of the Utah Youth Symphony and Young Artist Chamber Players, and took violin from Jack Ashton. I went on a performing mission to Nauvoo, Illinois where I was deemed "The Fiddler". Performing has been my life and I love to help others grow and succeed in their passion to perform!
Studio: Some accomplishments that have happened in the last few months: Student Ian just realized that we've expanded his upper range 6 half steps! He has come so far! Student Audrey just got done being a part in Narnia, a Jr. musical. You did amazing Audrey! Alexa discovered that the baby cry helps her relax her voice, and she can be sooo flexible with it! Our recital is coming up this Saturday, September 19, at 4:30 at the Murray Library. Everyone is nervous and prepared :)
